If your planning to go look at Cyprus/Malta or in particular Gozo ( which is a small island just off Malta where all the diving is)however whatever country you are in on the Med. you don't have far to go to find a dive facility, they will hire most of the gear to you even take non divers in...but if you have a cert take it with you that way you will skip most of all the legal introductary stuff. If your planning to go that far just to dive what about the Red sea? Look up all the sites and destinations on the Brit web sites
