As I was gearing up for a dive on the Moody this AM, my buddy noticed a mola beside the boat. Upon closer inspection, we noticed that there were 8-10 of them in tight formation. They were small ones with bodies a little larger than dinner plates. I tried to get a video cam over the side in time but missed them. It was really neat sight!

All in all the Moody dive was fun. No wolfies this time, no big sheepshead (kevin?), and the cave line that used to connect the two halves of the wreck seemed to be missing. I always enjoyed the swim between the two sections. I'm betting the line will reappear in the near future except it'll be much larger and tied a little higher on each structure.

Do Molas typically school? I've only seen large solitaries but I think ChrisM has some pics of multiple Mola's hanging out together.
