My other interest is gems/gold/silver. I would like to find some jade at Jade Cove. To make some jewelry pieces with a sea life design-starfish, bare breasted mermaids, etc. I only need a few pieces nothing larger than 3 or 4 inches.
What I have seen of Jade Cove. It is a difficult dive and out of the realm of solo diving. Which is most of my diving. Jade(nephrite)is a inexpensive stone and is usually sold by the pound. Can't see busting my ass or taking a chance with my life for a piece. Still I would at least hike down to find a piece. If they can be found on shore below the high tide mark. Anyone have any luck finding jade there? After I find some jade. I will need to find a model for my bare breasted mermaid jewelry ;-)
