Note that there's several ounces of prevention in
what I posted.
Also, I've never had to leave an anchor in about
800 dives off my whaler. There's only been one
time when I thought I might have to, but some buddies
came by to dive the same site, and they sent it up
on a lift bag. I bought them lunch. I have
retreived a couple of left anchors over the
years. One actually found its way back to its
owner.
