California diving is great!!!
The only boats with Nitrox here are the Peace and the Lois Ann. It's generally shallower diving where Nitrox is less required.
If you want wrecks, your best bet is Wreck Alley in San Diego and that is actually mostly half day boats including the Lois Ann.
California diving is more about the kelp forests. Most live abords are visiting the Channel Islands and you aren't likely to see many wrecks, but you can hunt lobster.
