California diving is great!!!
The only boats with Nitrox here are the Peace and the Lois Ann. It's generally shallower diving where Nitrox is less required.
If you want wrecks, your best bet is Wreck Alley in San Diego and that is actually mostly half day boats including the Lois Ann.
California diving is more about the kelp forests. Most live abords are visiting the Channel Islands and you aren't likely to see many wrecks, but you can hunt lobster.
Look at www.californiadiveboats.com for a complete dive boat listing and links to their sites where you can check schedules.
Try seahunt Diving For The Fun Of It for more than you want to know about California diving as well as first time visitor guides for San Diego and LA areas.... boat guides, shore guides, weather guides......
Enjoy the diving, seahunt
