Interesting that you mentioned LP records. I really find the sound quality of today's CD's disturbing. Compared to yesterday's LP records.

Yeah, a CD player is fine if you listen to Rap music. I don't. Every other style of music has suffered a loss of quality with CD's.

Laziness and greed are the driving forces behind technology ;-)

Home cooked meals to microwave nuke'em in a minute.

High quality music to lack luster CD's.

Film photos with warmth and character to cold digital images.

Automobiles that were real steel and easy to fix to computerized gizmo machines with GPS's. Because we still don't like to ask directions;-)

Scuba technology is great. We came a long ways in the last 40 years. I would be just as happy free diving in a pristine underwater enviroment of my youth.

Alas, Elaine, now I am having second thoughts about getting a new digital ;-)
