"We think we're going to end up with a pretty good deal from an air pollution standpoint," Ventura County's air pollution officer, Mike Viegas. said.

Energy is what makes our modern life so easy & fun. We all have to have energy and every time we convert it from one form to another it almost always has pollution byproducts.

Instead of wasting time puking, install solar or wind turbines and get your house off the grid. Get rid of your cars and use only bicycles. You'll sleep better at night (probably because you won't have lights are very many distractions). Alternately, you could just go about life realizing that pollution is going to happen and do the little "good citizen" things that we all should do like recycle cans and grocery bags, be careful with household hazzardous waste, pick up trash that you see laying around, turn the lights off when you leave the room, and make your most efficient vehicle your primary. Oh yeah, don't forget to make sure your tire pressure is correct and carpool when possible. If you're extra motivated, try to elect some half-intelligent public officials that will install decent public transportation and more nuke plants.

If you really want to help out, immediately sterilize yourself, your SO, and all of your kids. After all, people are the root cause of most pollution. Really taking it one step further would be even better but I wouldn't suggest that for fear of sounding too extreme. That, or you could just try to be happy and support a more sustainable life style like the one already mentioned.

The world is beautiful and life is good!
