Strobe Help!

I need a strobe for my new housing but I don't know wich one to choose.
I like the Ikelite DS-50 http://www.ikelite.com/web_pages/substrobe_dig50.html

That I can get as a pack deal w/ the manual controler and a arm of some sort. for like 5 bills

OR!
I can get the DS-125 from Ikelite that I can still get a pack deal but for like $1000 bucks ouch!

I have no idea as to what I should get to start with.
But I also do not want to be buying ten differnt strobes for ten different things. I want to get one strobe that does ten things for me.

OR! should I look some place else for a strobe?
Cheaper better strong like bull.
I havent a clue
