We launch at Half Moon Bay. It is about 30 miles one way to Noonday Rock
at the far end of the Farallones. We burn about 25-27 gallons
of gas round trip. So figure 75-100 gallons to Cortes.

If you can get a 21' boat in your garage, you have a BIG garage.
I can get my 16'7" whaler in the garge, but I have a removeable
trailer tongue and have to tip the motor down.

There are legalities in many towns about parking boats on the
street.

You are unlikely to be able to do those speeds in a 21' boat.
At least not and keep the boat and your kidney's intact.

Dunno how big a boat you need. Mostly you gotta pick your days.
We only got two days good enough for Farallones runs the first
half of this year. Same thing last year.
