Alwyne Wheeler in the book 'Key to the Fishes of Northern Europe', in reference to sunfish, Mola mola:

'They have no value as food fish; the flesh is soft and insipid, and this and the gut are frequently infested with worm cysts'

But, as Roger says, the worm cysts are probably delicacies in some parts of the world.
