Anywhere in Hawaii is probably great. But the best is probably the Kona coast, which is the southwest part of the Big Island of Hawaii. Jack's Diving Locker is a good outfit there. Do a google search and find their website, which will tell you all about accomodations as well.

2nd Place would have to go to the Florida Keys, particularly Key Largo. But with the unusually severe hurricanes there the past couple of years, as well as now, Hawaii is a more sure bet. You are less likely to have your vacation interrupted by a hurricane in Hawaii.

If you and your friends are seasoned shipwreck divers, then I would say the best would be a toss up between North Carolina and Michigan. But that is a different story.
