However, I don't understand the rationale behind having photographers get a fishing license. They do not "take" the resource like fishers, they leave it there for others to enjoy. And there are videographers like myself and still photogs like Elaine who use the imagery we capture to educate the public about the marine world. I stopped taking anything 30 years ago, but I have no problem with those who take with a license and according to the rules as long as they (or someone) eat what they take.
