Hi all went to Redondo Canyon tonight for the scientific dive class and a fellow student lost her fin.
It's a yum yum yellow Atomic split fin smaller size.

If found please e-mail me off list thanx.

Ok now to the cool stuff:)

We went there to try and find squid eggs from 50ft to 75ft
we found nothing of the kind:(

But we did see alot of sand dollers, some sort of flounder, sheep crabs.octipus, one flying fish, one ray/could have been a torpedo or spiny, and some swimming crabs/kinda look like a knife with legs.

The viz was poor from the surface to about 40ft after that it opened up to about 10 to 15 feet(way better than the last time I was there) The water temp was about 64 degrees. This dive was one of the better dives we have done with the class all the other dives have been zero viz and doing stuff like lift bags puting puzzles together finding stuff like cinderblocks and running meter tapes sheeesh tonight was a relief.

Next weekend is going to be the best of them all though!
UC Davis is paying for my hole class to spend three nights at the USC Isthimus place they have there so we can do debrie removal from the (hopefully)whole back side of Catalina island
or as far as we can get plus I'll be getting Nitrox certified finally It should be a blast.

Well thats all I did tonight

Now to pound beers and watch TV SWEET.
