I really like their masks and the silicone flex snorkel - perfect for freediving (or underwater hockey) - very streamlined and low volume. They make a great line of long blade fins as well (I also like Cressi's). Check out leisurepro for pricing.

See Phil already recommended a wetsuit; never dawned on me you'd try to freedive in a dry suit (gad-zooks). I'd go one-piece - the exercise of freediving will keep you warm and you want minimum added buoyancy. Maybe rent a suit before buying.
