Anyone who is working for more reserves is OK in my book! i just finished my 101st trip to San Nicolas Island, if you would like to hear about the life in the shallows at that island, i would be happy to tell you what's going on there. As a base-line reference it doesn't fit perfectly as nic is a cold water environment, but it does serve to show the potential of a defacto reserve, one where recreational fishermen have virtually no impact.
