I knew that the Catalina Conservancy didn't have anything to do with the underwater environment, and have spent some time at the Wrigely/USC research center. It's diving in the reserves, then diving in the other areas that pose such a striking contrast in overfishing and overdiving.

Do you think they will ever get a mooring bouy system around the island so all the boats don't continue to drop anchor?
