I didn't see any criticism; just commentary. I've thought about Osborne and the Moody, but they are outside of my current capabilities. If I were to attempt either, I'd want to have the training and practice in mixed gases and decompression planning so as to do the dives as safely as practical and to enjoy my extended bottom time and clearer head. I'd also want to go out with a group like the SeaDivers as they have the vision and membership capabilities to charter trips to such sites. They are an advanced group and its members I've known are first-rate divers. To know that Captain Tim kept a watch is all the more reassuring and says a lot about him as a proactive diver, but we know he's a great captain anyway. If someone wants to dive deep - let them. If they come back safe and sound - great. Let's move on and go diving! |
