All the fun we've been having on the board about lost and found gear and stuff made me realize: the missing ingredient in DIR diving is fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!! It's all so bloody serious and grim jawed and totally focused on gear, gas, and getwiththeprogram holistic allornothingatall. But where's the "joy of diving", the critters, the photography, and, yes, the brass? Lighten up you DIR and teckie zealots, and put some fun in your Fundamentals. Just my 2 cents worth. (Yeah, DWILL, I can hear you now: Two cents is all I'm worth. Blah, blah, blah)
