Last year we designed a secure mooring for a large underwater structure (roughly equivalent to a dive boat). It's designed so that no chain drags the bottom (damaging coral.) Cost for materials: $8K, labor: $4K, deploying at Farnsworth: $$$???, insurance: who knows - we didn't insure it. We deployed it this Spring and it works just fine.

A mooring at Farnsworth will cost a lot and will only provide the earliest arrival a secure spot. Everyone else will just anchor...
