Not to belabor the point.

There is more than one perspective, some would argue a religious one, to catch and release.

Many subsistence cultures do not agree with catch-and-release fishing, since their traditional concept of respecting nature is to make use of a fish that allows itself to be caught.

No disrespect meant to the memory of your mom.
