My thought was the same thing, but in one of the examples, the
edge of the shadow has a wiggle in it. shutter blades have

You can check this just by firing the camera with the back open.

Another possibility is a processing screwup if the process on reels.
You can check to see of the processing was OK by cutting open the
slide mounts and taking the chip of film out. If there are letters
and numbers in the margin on the dark side, the film was processed
OK.
