Perspective! A baby lobster looks just like its great-granddad unless you have someone or something to compare it to.

Finding a really big bug - wonderful
Catching a really big bug - great fun
Wrestling a really big bug into a game bag - adrenaline rush
Having your picture taken with your big bug - memorable
Releasing your big bug - priceless!

Having said that, after catching one big bug, getting your picture taken, and releasing the monster, you don't need to catch another big one. It is stressful for the lobster; we want them to be rested and healthy for their jobs as progenators of the future generations of tasty crustaceans.
