I currently use a 2 meter when Hang Gliding and it is amazing what some of the land based Hams talk about and for how long. On one occasion this guy was talking about some nonsense and mentioned that he was soon going to eat dinner. I thought - "great" some quiet. As time went on I could only think - when was he going to eat. Finally, he informed his buddy that desert had arrived! The guy ate dinner while talking on the radio !!! Being in the air makes it a little difficult to change channels - all I could do was lower the volume. Some of these guys really need to get a life !
