Whale at Vets!

I stopped on my morning bike ride to check conditions at Vets. A couple of tourists were taking pictures with their cell phone but I couldn't see anything of interest - I thought they might have spotted some the resident dolphins or were excited about seagulls... WHOA! A grey whale spouted just in front of the bathrooms at Vets, maybe twenty feet from shore! We watched in amazement as the small whale moved slowly parallel to the beach, occasionally surfacing.

No, I didn't have my camera. No, I wasn't diving. Yes, it was an amazing sight.
