Man that is an obtuse question, yet intriguing.

I could not find any Mfg that states their process for determining the lift value of their BCDs.
Nor could I find anyone that claims to have tested them.

Is that the whole BCD, or in a wing setup, is that just the wing?
Also, is the temperature of the air a factor?
If so does it have the same lift at 100' as it does at 10'.

At what point do you measure it? Right after the dump valve burps?

That's it!!!
Time to contact all the MFGs and have them send samples.
We can hook a spring scale up to a sand anchor and test all of them...
...and then sneak into some unsuspecting condo complex and use their pool.
