That's not what you said before. You cited 2-for-1 deals and online training as manifestations of PADI's, Sport Chalet's, and specifically Chris Robinson's disregard for quality dive training.

The fact is that SC stopped offering 2-for-1 about the time CR arrived, and PADI didn't offer online OW training until after CR left. I'm not commenting on the issue with the boats (since I don't have any first-hand knowledge of it), but some of your vitriol seems ill-considered.

The entire dive retail industry treats training as a loss leader to drive equipment sales. That's why the LDSs cry so much about internet retailers. I'll grant you that the economics of the dive industry are broken. It seems, however, a little misguided to single out SC for a complaint that applies to nearly every brick-and-mortar dive retailer.
