I have to agree with Seahunt on this one. Morro Bay weather is very often on the rugged side. Much of the year diving is not good. Visibility can be a problem along with frequent swell and storms. I dive Cambria Rock with my kayak and there are only a handful of divers on the Central Coast that dive it. Monterey is great because there are so many places to dive- when one isn't so good another is often OK. Not so on the Central Coast. All diving would have to be from a boat, and much would be very cold and low vis.- conditions that do not sit well with lots of dives. You simply would not attract divers from the north or south in order to dive a spot that was not as good as where they came from, and when you limit the number of dive spots to one, this choice seems even less desirable.
