Ah, yes. The old "where will we get air" concern. Once shops stop subsidizing air and instruction with overpriced gear, the market will work out the correct pricing for air fills.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't want to pay a falsely inflated price on one product in order to get a falsely deflated price on another one. The only reason I can see why anyone would want to do that is if they're hoping to shift some the cost of their air fills to less informed consumers who need lots of gear (aka new divers).

Forget "dive economics". Most of this industry doesn't even have a firm grasp on the most basic economic concepts.
