Glad to hear that the vis as at least better than your last visit. Conditions seemed funny this weekend -- I heard it was nice diving at Flat Rock Friday night, but less than 24 hours later we found 3-foot vis max and major washing-machine surge action not far away from there.

On our way out Saturday evening, we caught some bits on the radio involving some Coast Guard traffic, mention of the Pacific Star, and a vessel that was taking on water that was being asked if all of their passengers had life vests on. Was something up with the Pac Star? Their schedule says this weekend they had a 2-day charter with SSA in Montclair. I don't want to be starting unfounded rumors if in fact what I caught was unrelated pieces of different radio traffic.
