Paddington Cove is near Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park on the Big Sur. Only way to get there is a walk down the hill (and back up, that's the hard part)... Max's wagon would come in handy.

There are actually 2 coves - one at the bottom and another accessed by going thru a tunnel shaft there you can clamor over the rocks to a potential freedive entry spot. I'd only try these if the water was dead calm and I had a current weather report (and then there' always that risk of a NorCal sleeper wave). But the cove looks really interesting and the vis was incredible from top side.
