It's come to my attention that all this perceived "goodness" @ Long Point may not be all that popular with some of the dive community. Even posts by reef check divers that improved tideline access, or facilities would not be welcome.

Without me addressing "here" any concerns that might be on anybodys mind, It would be good to hear any and all intelligent reasons for the diving community to back off on issues we (may) care about. Environmental (U/W) impact of more divers aside, what's YOUR ideas?

As a life long diver and surfer, I've always appreciated the main differance between the two groups is that surfers "hide" their secret spots and protect them, and divers "share" them ;-) I get that.
