| nudibranch Festival at Ship rock, catalina |
|
Posted by scottfiji on May 12, 2008 at 09:04:31: 3 of us set sail to catalina on Saturday, may 9th. we did 2 dives at ship rock, conditions were great, and nudibranchs were out in full force, it was amazing. Its nudibranch season there, and over 25 species have been seen recently, a record for catalina, which is less known for its macro life. Only 6 or 7 weeks until the fish start arriving! Our 3rd dive was at marineland, where conditions were less than stellar, but still ok. All photos are from ship rock except for the D. iris. enjoy the photos, Scott
