I remember days like that in detail.
The first time we went out near the Key Hole, on Dale's suggestion, probably within 100 feet of where that picture was
taken. I couldn't find anything real interesting at the Key Hole so I went further off where you were looking for fish. I
made one free dive and went back to your boat to get my 9 inch caliper. All I had to do was look for deeper spots and it
didn't take me long to get a limit of 9's. I can still see the flat bottom with rocks about the size of a kitchen oven
sticking up occasionally. It was a bit dim in the kelp, but beautiful and full of life. Oh yah, I remember that well and
other days like it.
I'll check Pebble Beach out on the map. It sounds like what I need. I'll have the float, which should help them.
I'm going to make them practice first with ab shells I hold down on the bottom. I'm going to have them try in a lake as
well. I'm also not going to allow them anything
under 8 inches. ... bring my on zip ties...? OK. I can do that.
I can't wait. 6/3 we'll be seeing ya.
Enjoy the diving, seahunt
