We were there all day with the LA County ADP Class. Morning was pretty surgy especially for the washups and the channel shoot. Vis didn't seem bad - good 10+ feet. About 11 it started to calm down and in the kelp the vis was a good 15 feet. Last dive was skin for me and I followed the advanced class from the surface - vis opened up to 35+ feet. Spectacular.

Saw a 3 foot GBSB along the kelp at the east side of Issei cove. The cove had a lot of sardines, opal eye and some kelp bass. The kelp bed directly in from of teh point at the west side of Issei seemed to have the best vis. One of the instructor candidates saw what appeared to be a leopard shark.

Water temp a balmy 65. I'd love to go back tomorrow, but its off to Ventura.
