Ya know, I have been reading this and thinking about it. I saw nothing compelling,
but then I thought of something that might be relevant. Why should the F&G be hard
nosed about it? Should they be? Think about the La Jolla preserve. Think of how many
wackos we've heard of in the last few years doing absolutely wacko illegal stuff
there because the game is so thick. Think about what goes on up at the North Coast
because there are abalone. Thinking about what the F&G are going to be up against,
I can sort of see why they might be hard nosed protecting it.
