I encountered this question when I went to the Solomon Islands on a liveaboard. The CDC information was not much help because they did not address staying on a boat vs staying on land.

On our trip we did shore excursions. We had "larium day" on board the boat when everyone took their drugs. I decided to not take any chances so I opted for drugs myself. We did traverse jungle getting to and from the boat.
