One factor you should consider is that not all occupied seats are paid for directly by the diver. Particularly for charters where you have students. You will always have at least one instructor for every 8 students. Furthermore, good shops won't dive with those high ratios and will staff up with more instructors or DMs. For example, the shop I teach with will typically have 4-6 teaching staff on every charter, including our charters on smaller boats.

Also, a better indicator would be to get an average load for this boat you mention. You can't make sensible comparisons when you're talking about selling every seat (already not true as shown above), and then making a hyperbole on yearly gross with inaccurate numbers as if every seat on every charter was filled. You'll obviously have some "undersold" charters that will bring this number down.
