It is pretty well decided that the information identifying the former minesweeper outside Scorpion at the Peacock is in error. The only name firmly identified with this vessel is Spirit of America, and, sadly, there is little information on this vessel either. I would not recommend doing this site as a beach dive. It's just outside the offshore rock at Little Scorpion, and given the currents that are not infrequent in the area, a boat should be a requirement for the dive.
