I have to wonder about this price tag. Quinn the Eskimo would offer a much better deal. Did anyone ever think of blasting some Bob Dylan at the seals?

I agree with seahunt, humans have a right to a small part of the shore. Children's Pool is a VERY small area that provides a safe place for kids to enjoy the ocean (and divers to get to the reef). There are many miles of other open places for seals and sea lions.

If this place is deemed offlimits to humans by another money-wasting court challenge, I'd say the City should just remove the concrete sea wall and let it return to nature... adios seals.
