Cho, who allegedly had no abalone report card, altered his Fish & Game license, and had an over limit of abalone, plead not guilty and will return on Feb. 9 with an attorney. Chi M. Poon pleaded no contest to having six abalone over the limit. He was placed on a 24-month probation, ordered to forfeit his gear and his abalone and told not to purchase a fishing license during the term of his probation, sentenced to five days in Mendocino County Jail, and fined $1,925. A $10K bail warrant was released for Eek N. Bang who failed to appear to answer for alleged abalone violations.
