As usual you guys are clueless(I know it‘s all about hating Ray).
On a live boat the captain can not do roll call, in this case the shop’s dive master (instructor) did the roll call and said that everyone was there. They also signed Mr. Carlock out on the second dive (at the new spot).
Ray and his boats have been the only one’s punished (for the actions of charter, the charters dive masters, and Mr Carlock).
An on going problem is that the people who charter the boats need to be more aware of who they put on the boats (Mr. Carlock was not ready for a dive like this, his actions showed this). Dive masters like instructors have a license to kill and should be held responsible for there actions.
Let’s hope that the industry will learn from this, but I don’t see that happening.
