I sent the pictures to another shark expert friend, Barbara Block PhD, the scientist at Stanford who lead all the GWS tagging on the Farallon vs Guadalupe GWS, and here is her reply.

“Very interesting- they are very similar at this size to salmon sharks....but you have a great white pup there- Barb” Barbara Block Charles & Elizabeth Prothro Professor in Marine Sciences Evolutionary, Cellular and Molecular Physiology.
