Thank you MAX!

I recall it being much earlier around the 1970s..
The boat trip was free and all the air was free and supplied by the boat.

Lill Lancaster was the spearhead of the clean up. I recall there were several clean ups in a row..Then lill and Arnie seperated and a few years later Arnie was no longer a charter Captain..Now they have both disappeared in to the dust of history.

Perhaps there was a seperation of time and Catalina Divers Supply (CDS) re-established the clean-up. As I recall about that time CDS changed hands..The owners..can't recall their names at present... I think retired and moved to Baja or mainland Mexico.

It is so important to perserve the short history of diving, especially now when some of the participants are sill amoung us, rather than waiting a few years and begin a statment with I think.. I suspose.. I heard.. I believe...Which is where we are currently with the history of the clean up...and the Chamber day (?)

Max Thanks again for your input...You can always be counted on..
