In declaring their WAR, they squandered their greatest opportunity to form aliances with the powers that be that could have served them well in persuing their own interests. For instance, there are still trawlers and gillnets on the Horshshoe which is arguably one of the most popular fishing destinations on the west coast of both continents..

This is a classic example of WAR so misguided that they did more harm to their own best interest than if they had just done NOTHING!

Too small, too late, but this is a step in the right direction...
