And yet another missing bell...

Some years ago when I was just an innocent neophyte diver, I used to lust for a large brass bell while petting the shop's pet mountain lion in Water-Gil Dive Shop on Lincoln Blvd close to what now is Marina del Rey. The owners of the shop - Bob and Trudy Lorenz, guided me - Bob brusquely and Trudy with sensitivity - from an eager snorkeler to a certified (and ultimately certifiable) scuba diver. I was entranced by that bell and can remember the name on it - CHIAPAS. Little did I know at the time, that that was one of the names carried by what would become one of my favorite wrecks, one that I would dive to hundreds of times (and still do), the wreck that is locally known as the Star of Scotland.
One day the bell was gone, and to the best of my knowledge, has remained missing to this day.
I would love to find that bell...
