They've almost all been diveable. |

Maybe there were days when an argument could have been made to stay home but nearly every weekend has been diveable if you wanted to get wet. I've missed two weekends this year and only one was weather related. It hasn't always been ideal but there's also been some good diving on days when the forecast looked awful. Saturday was just fine for instance and we dove both Carmel and Monterey. None of this involved doing anything remotely unsafe or unwise. Some of it did involve diving in bad vis and/or surge and there were some bumpy boat rides. But there were also some really nice dives on days when everyone else was canceling. Gotta want to dive. Probably the best example was this day. The boat cancelled due to weather. My friend Vanessa had a Lobos reservation and wanted to dive but her buddy backed out. So we went diving. And it looked like this. When everyone else was staying home complaining about the weather. Here's the list for the year: March 17 - East Pinnacle, Hopkins Deep Reef $.02 Clinton
