Redondo Beach Vet park about to be slammed again

I was sorry to see a sign posted as I walked the Strand this weekend between Ruby and Topaz lifeguard towers that the Army Corp is about to do a "Beach Renourishment" there. Basically they are dredging Marina Del Rey and dumping it in Redondo. They use all types of nice words, but if any of you remember when they dredged King Harbor and dumped it there, I think it wiped out Vets Park for about 2 years. That last event killed off a lot of the neat small stuff back them. So now that Vets Park has recovered, here you go again.
