We gave it a shot by using a handheld Garmin 120. I came to a conclusion this device is about 600 feet off from the coordinate entered. I live about 300 feet north side on the 91 freeway but when I hit mark waypoint it shows I’m 300 feet south side of the freeway. I will be sending it back to Garmin. Good news is I just ordered a Hummingbird 385 DI gps/sonar for the kayak. We will test it out in a few weeks
