It's all about the money, just follow the money, that's the way it always is.
Forget about what's right. Not until every fish is gone out of the ocean will commercial interests stop, they won't have a choice. And then you watch, they will blame everybody else except themselves including the pinnipeds.
I know those guys too well. All they care about is how much money they can get. If that means selling to foreign markets because they will pay more then it will go to them, that's the way it is. They allow it because the commercial fishing lobby is very strong and politicians need their money to stay in office.

All I ask as a citizen is please just let me get a fish once in a while to eat, I only take not even a hundred pounds a year to their millions of pounds.
