Commercial fishermen are no better than the general public when it comes to poaching. A few years ago, a lobster boat was observed running around in circles off the King Harbor breakwall (an area off limits to commecial fishing.) The lobsterman got caught in the line on an illegal trap he was dropping and drowned himself. More recently, commercial fishermen were caught with illegal abalone hidden in their boat. Just saying, because you are a licensed commercial fisherman, doesn't mean you are clean.
